Santa and his helpers met pupils of Windmill Hill Primary School to drop off the gifts and hear the children’s wish lists.
The pupils stroked and fed the reindeer and were taught about how they live in the wild.
The visit capped a day of festive excitement at the school, which began when Graham Evans, MP for Weaver Vale, presented Year 4 pupil Olivia Timson with a bundle of her competition-winning Christmas cards.
Last month, pupils at the school were challenged to design a Christmas card that Mr Evans could send to his work colleagues and constituents.
Olivia submitted the winning entry and was given a pile of professionally printed cards for her family and friends.
