I am delighted that Theresa May will be our next Prime Minister, I believe that she has the experience and leadership qualities to unite the country and move us forward to grasp the opportunities the future has to offer.

David Cameron has been an excellent Prime Minister and I know that Theresa May will be a worthy successor governing in the national interest.

I'd like to praise the dignity Andrea Leadsom has shown today, now we must all move forward together to create a country which works for all of us.
